Booking

A reservation will be held on receipt of a reservation fee of £100 which is not refundable. The balance (full cost less reservation fee) should be received by us at least six weeks before your arrival. Failure to comply with this will result in forfeit of the reservation and of the fee. When you request a reservation and that reservation is confirmed by us, you become liable to pay to us the full cost of the cottage, irrespective of whether you later change your intention.

Alternatively, contact us by one of the means listed in the "contact us" page accessed via the menu. Please look at our price guide prior to using our enquiry form or contacting us.

Late Reservations

Requests for late reservations (6 weeks or less before arrival) should be accompanied by payment in full (we suggest you use our online reservation system or check availability first).

Accepted Payment

We accept payment by Visa Delta (debit card) without an extra charge. For transactions on other Visa and MasterCard credit and charge cards, we add upto 2% of the full cost of the accommodation. We also accept cheques payable to Burnbrae Holidays.

Cancellations

If it is necessary for you to cancel a reservation, this should be communicated to us in writing. We will try to let the cottage to others. If we are successful, we will refund a proportion of the amount you have paid, depending on the amount we receive for the substitute let. We suggest you obtain cancellation insurance and we can provide contact details of insurers, if you wish.
