The Studio
At Burnbrae we have converted part of the old mill into a studio which is used for classes in embroidery and other textile related subjects. A simple home-made lunch is provided in the attached house overlooking the gardens, fields and pond. The views, the old stone walls, the trees and flowers have inspired several visual artists who have stayed at Burnbrae.
As a keen embroiderer, when creating the studio with Sam, Pat ensured that particular attention was paid to good lighting, warmth and an abundance of sockets for sewing machines! It is on ground level with ample car parking space. Help is available with transferring sewing machines from car to studio.
